I was lucky enough to have the range to myself that day. Unfortunately, I also forgot to bring a cameraman or a tripod so I was left to using nature's tripod, the boulder. I'm doing some basic drills for accuracy, testing a new mag-retention system, and a new belt setup. As I discuss in the video, the holster used is a Blackhawk Serpa II (non-light-bearing), with a kydex double-mag holder by JMC Custom in Florida. I originally found out about JMC through this video www.youtube.com by ITS Tactical. This video represents the FIRST TIME USE of the magazine-holding system and my in-field thoughts come up about half-way through the video. I shot for about two hours and overall I was very, very happy with both the Serpa and the JMC setup. I will be out on the range within a few days to have an update video, with some better footage of actual shooting and drills. I had some difficulty with the mag-holder "riding up" on my belt and side of my body because the belt it was hinged to was only .5" wide, as opposed to the 1.75" setup on the JMC. This is my fault and not a design flaw of the mag holder at all.
